MATCHA MILK BREAD TURTLES | WITH CHOCOLATE DUTCH CRUNCH

This is another winner, at least in my (cook)book! I like muffins but, before this recipe, had never used rye flour ~ Its flavor, along with that of the 3/4 cup of cranberries that I used, made for an OUTSTANDING muffin (&, of course, I used chocolate chips, too)! My baking time ran to almost 25 minutes.



Easy and tasty. My kids loved this one. Adding vanilla and cinnamon gives it more flavor. We added the grated rind of an orange and these were absolutely great. We eat a lot of healthy stuff, and we never have time for breakfast, so these were perfect for grab-and-go, healthful, filling bite in the morning. Our oven is pretty efficient and we baked mini muffins, so I'm no help on the baking time -- 25 minutes was fine.
